I went to half a dozen leather goods stores recommended by my network in Rome and this was the jackpot. The first clue was that it wasn’t a shop piled with goods. The limited selection here means high quality and true craftsmanship. You are not getting something mass produced, but rather a true work of art and creativity. I carried my new bag during the remainder of my time in Italy and received compliments from locals and tourists alike.
